1. Day 1: Athens

Transfer from the airport to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to visit the city’s highlights.

  1. Day 2: Athens / Santorini

Transfer to Piraeus port at 6am to board the ferry to Santorini. Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

  1. Day 3: Santorini – Half-day Santorini Land Tour

Follow us on a journey through time, while trying to unveil the myths and legends of more than 4000 years of History. Drive through the village of Pyrgos, the largest preserved village on Santorini and the island’s former capital. Strategically built in the heart of the pre-volcanic hinterland and at the foot of Mt Profitis Ilias, Pyrgos affords panoramic views. The main square, with its tall pine trees and quaint little coffee shops, is the focal point for socializing and entertainment. Santorini owns a great many churches of unparalleled beauty scattered all over its length, from tiny charming chapels to massive monasteries. One of them is the glorious monastery of Profitis Ilias, one of the oldest of the island. The monastery, whose exterior stone walls resemble a fortress, was built by two monks in 1711. In that era, it was an important cultural and educational center that undoubtedly offered a great social work. The Monastery of Prophet Elias is built on the highest peak of Santorini, at 565 meters above the sea. Our next stop will be a local winery for visit and wine tasting of 3 different wines. Drive passing the villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli, in order to visit the traditional village of Oia. The most picturesque village of Santorini, holds the position of the most visited spot for sunset viewing, as it provides an excellent view of the well-known sunset, probably the most famous sunset in the world. Free time for shopping or a cocktail and then back to your hotel.

  1. Day 4: Santorini / Heraklion, Crete

In and around Heraklion

Free day until you are transferred to Santorini port and embark on the ferry for Crete. Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

  1. Day 5: Heraklion, Crete

Crete: the largest Greek island of Greece. Thousands of years of history and culture, rich flora, endless magnificent seashores, the world’s healthiest cuisine, Crete really has it all! Land of the ancient Minoan civilization, the notable palaces of Knossos and Phaistos are one of the most significant archaeological sites of the world. Indulge yourself with the Cretan cuisine, the very heart of the Mediterranean diet, taste the delectable dishes that blend traditional with Mediterranean flavours accompanied with Raki- the ever-popular local drink.

  1. Day 6: Heraklion, Crete

Breakfast at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure until tour transfer to the airport or port.
